We created the eRecords Legal Center to be a resource to those involved in electronic records management -- a place where professionals and non-professionals are welcome to explore the ever-shifting and often dangerous terrain where e-record retention and the law intersect, such as issues on email retention (PDF download).
We have spoken with hundreds of record managers and in-house counsel across the country about their electronic records management problems. In the course of our travels, the need for a comprehensive website (a one-stop shop) dedicated to the legal aspects of e-record management became clear. This website aims to be that place, where real people can get plain information about the very real problems affecting electronic records management.
Our goal is to ensure that eRecords Legal Center contains the most current and comprehensive information available on legal issues affecting electronic records management and email retention, presented in a plain and understandable way.
On this site you will find information regarding Electronic Discovery, Electronic Records Policies, Vendors providing solutions for electronic records management, and Links to other valuable resources, among other things.
Remember, this site is for you. If you find it lacking in any way, please let us know--we look forward to hearing from you about your erecords management needs. Our door is always open.
Regards, Dave and
Bill.
